Masala Chhaas/Buttermilk Recipe
This drink is a super hit at most Indian homes! It is a coolant, easy on the tummy and the crushed roasted cumin seeds aid in quick and easy digestion, especially after a heavy meal!The recent secret that I learned about this Magic drink is that if you have sugar cravings and having a dessert is a must have for you after every meal, you must drink a glass of chilled chhaas immediately after your meals. This immediately avoids that sweet craving! I have tried and tested this method to curb my stubborn sweet tooth and I was surprised and happy to learn that it worked wonders!!! 🙂 🙂

Ingredients
- 500 gms Plain yogurt (dahi)
 - 2 tspn Roasted cumin seeds (powdered)
 - 1/2 tspn Roasted cumin seeds (whole)
 - 1 tspn Chaat masala (optional)
 - 1 tspn Red chilly Powder
 - Salt (as per taste)
 - 1 litre Room temperature Water
 - 1/4 cup Fresh Coriander (chopped fine)
 
Instructions
- In a wide Bowl, Add All the above mentioned ingredients and Whisk with a hand whisk so that all the yogurt lumps break down
 - If you do not have a hand whisk, You can also blend the yogurt in a Mixer Jar and then add it into a vessel along with all the other ingredients
 - Garnish with fresh chopped coriander
 - Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator till chilled
 - Serve chilledEnjoyyyy 🙂 🙂
 - Note:-You can Store this in a bottle in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks
