Recipe for Ice Gola

Ice Golas are a Bombay Street Favourite. We have been enjoying Ice Golas right from or Childhood days. Be it after school or Tuitions.
The best part is that the Gola wala Bhaiyya(the seller)would always tell us that its not good for us kids and then we would ask him then why are you selling?? And he would reply today you eat only One not two!Hahaha! So sweet right!
As we grew and started going shopping and chilling, My best Gola Buddy was My Mom! My Mom and I could never(still can never) stop at just One 😊 We start with Kala Katta, then it’s either Orange or Raspberry and then finish it off with a Nimbu Paani Chamach Gola!
We’ve explored almost all kinds of Golas right from Chammach Gola, to Milk Gola(at Vasai’s Khan Bhai) to Milk Maid Gola(at a late Night cart Marine Drive) and Plate Gola at Borivali Station.
Here in Dubai, I miss the Street Food Carts. And now that the Summers have set in, All you want is that Ek Chuski of a Nice Chilled Gola..
Since Mum & I have many a Gola stories, I decided to give this a try after watching some videos on Youtube.
This is my Mommy’s Day surprise for her! I Wish I could fly down to Mumbai right now just to make this for her!
