1tspnVinegar or Lemon juice or Tamarind pulpYou can use marble sized whole tamarind if you like, instead of the pulp
2GreenChilliesRoughly chopped
¼tspnSalt
1SmallOnionRoughly chopped
6-8Medium sizedGarlic clovesRoughly chopped
1-2tbspWaterOnly if required
Instructions
Add all the above mentioned ingredients(except the coconut) into a mixer grinder
Make a Fine paste out of all these ingredients
Now add the grated coconut to this paste and further grind it to form a thick, coarse paste.Note:The cocnsistency should not be curry like.
Your chutney is ready!! 😋 You can store this chutney in the refrigerator in an air tight container for upto 3 days only, since this has all raw ingredients.
You can use this delicious chutney to make sadwhices, stuff it inside fish or even enjoy it with Hot rice. If eating with rice, you may have to add some water to the chutney once it's ready and mix it with a spoon so that it becomes curry like, but do not cook it.Enjoy😊
